About me and the blog

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Jaimie Potters and I’d like to first introduce myself by mentioning my interest in art, love for walking everywhere and knack for spontaneity. I go to Boston University, where I’m a senior majoring in Advertising and minoring in Political Science. I have big plans to eventually spend an extended amount of time in Berlin and to travel to Vietnam with my dad.

This summer I interned at media agency MEC on their recently launched global content division, Wavemaker. As a Content Intern on the Wavemaker team, I saw how data and deep insights are used to create content that consumers connect with. Genuinely, this was an incredible experience and finally led me to what I’m now pretty sure I want to do after school, which is creating content. Two days before the end of my internship, I had the pleasure of meeting with the Chief Digital Officer at MEC, who suggested I keep track of the things I’m passionate about in this fascinating industry by making a blog. I’ll admit the idea seemed daunting at first, but I’m someone who enjoys a good challenge and I figure this will be the best way for me to become more cognizant of what I feel makes up amazing content.

This blog seeks to be a place where innovations in art and technology are celebrated, with a concentration on VR and modern art installations. Enjoy and please feel free to reach out!

  1. I am very proud of the young woman that you’re becoming, the sky’s the limit and I know that you will not aim for anything less than greatness.
